NOTE:

New Rope Tensile Strengths are
based on tests of new and unused Rope, tested according to ISO 2307. A
straight tensile test under these specification is at slow speed using
eye-spliced test pieces.
-
For the safety work, Maximum
Working Load is recommendable to use about 17% of minimum breaking strength.
And also it should be reduced where life, limb or valuable property are
involved, or for exceptional service conditions such as shock load, sustained
load, etc.
